Our Beliefs

Our Beliefs

01

It is our conviction that the Scriptures are divinely inspired by God, revealing His purpose and blueprint for humanity.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Peter 1:20-21)

02

Our faith is anchored in the belief in the existence of one true God, who manifests in three distinct persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, known as the Trinity.
(Mark 1:9-11, John 14:16-17)

03

The core of our faith lies in the recognition of the Lord Jesus Christ's divine nature. Jesus, as the Son of God, embodies both human and divine attributes.
(Matt.1:23, Heb. 7:26, Acts.2:33)

04

It is our conviction that despite being created good, humanity chose to succumb to Sin, leading to the introduction of evil and death, both in the physical and spiritual realms, into the world.
(Genesis 3:6-24, Romans 5:12-19)

05

Our faith teaches us that each individual has the opportunity to regain a close relationship with God through 'Salvation' (by embracing Christ's forgiveness for sins).
(John 3:16, Romans 8:16)

06

We hold to the belief and observance of two ordinances—(1) Baptism by immersion after repentance of sins and acceptance of Christ's salvation, and (2) Holy Communion (the Lord's Supper) as a symbolic memorial of Christ's sacrifice and death for our redemption.
(Matthew 28:19, 1 Corinthians 11:26)

07

It is our conviction that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a unique encounter that occurs after Salvation, providing believers with the strength to witness and serve effectively, mirroring the experiences of the New Testament era.
(Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8)

08

Our faith is grounded in the belief that the primary outward sign of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is the ability to speak in tongues, a phenomenon witnessed on the day of Pentecost and documented in Acts and the Epistles.
(Acts 2:4, 1 Corinth.12:4-10)

09

Our belief is that sanctification begins at the moment of Salvation and is not just a mere declaration of holiness for a believer, but an ongoing process of distancing oneself from evil as believers strive to grow closer to God and emulate Christ.
(Romans 12:1-2, Hebrews 12:14)

10

10. It is our conviction that the Church has a vital Mission to reach out and save those who are lost in sin. We define 'the Church' as the Body of Christ, comprising individuals who have embraced God's redemption offer (irrespective of religious affiliation) through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ.
(Ephesians 1:22-23, Acts 1:8, Mark 16:15-20)

11

It is our conviction that a leadership ministry, called by divine authority and established according to the Scriptures, plays a crucial role in serving the Church. The Word of God instructs us to submit to our leaders, dedicating ourselves to spreading the message of Christ, worshipping alongside fellow believers, and nurturing the community of believers–the Church.
(Mark 16:15-20, James 1:27)

12

We affirm that divine healing of the sick is a blessing available to Christians today, made possible through Christ's atonement (His sacrificial death on the cross for our sins).
(Matt.8:16-17, James 5:14-16)

13

Our faith is centered on...the joyful anticipation of Jesus' return to gather His Church before His second coming. When this time comes, all deceased believers will be resurrected and join the Lord in the sky, while living Christians will also be taken up to be with Him eternally.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Romans 8:23)

14

We have faith in the millennial reign of Christ, where Jesus will return with His saints at His second coming and commence His benevolent rule over the earth for a period of 1,000 years. This millennial reign will result in the salvation of national Israel and the establishment of universal peace.
(Matt.24:26-31, Rev.20:1-6)

15

It is our conviction that a final judgment awaits those who have refused to accept Christ. They will face judgment for their transgressions and be sentenced to eternal damnation in a fiery lake of punishment.
(Mark 9:43-48, Rev.21:8)

16

We hold firm to the belief in the glorious New Heavens and New Earth that Christ is preparing for all who have embraced Him, regardless of the era they lived in. After His millennial reign on earth, we will reside with Him eternally in that perfect place. This is the promise of being forever in the presence of the Lord!
(2 Peter 3:9-13, Rev. Chapters 21 & 22)
